2019 Sands of Kahana, Maui---unit 414 (1 bedroom/1 bath unit):
Love the foliage covered entryway
resort map
The buildings were set up in a rather peculiar way---they had inside courtyards. The bottom level included a garage
large comfy bed. There was also a ceiling fan and a floor tower fan here. I did not need the tower fan.
from front door---bedroom to the left, followed by the bathroom, then kitchen, then living area.
nice bathroom with stackable washer and drier
lots of linens and necessities in the linen closet in the hallway
good sized kitchen
dining room/living room--- with sofa bed which was actually comfortable as a couch and a bed.
interesting decor
love the pictures.
lnteresting bases to the dining room table.
Nice sized heated pool with attached restaurant
activities booth for rentals. Some pretty good deals, like any of the toys (kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, umbrellas, chairs) for something like $80 a week.
plenty of grills throughout the property
putting green with loaner clubs and balls
koi pond
outdoor meeting space where they held orientation talks
the onsite restaurant---The Beach House.
small but nice beach
more of the ocean and beach
straight out
great place for sunset
plenty of loungers and chairs
This was an RCI exchange. All in all it was really nice. It was a bit noisy around 7 am. You could hear people leaving and the elevators dinging, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Location is great, units are nicely appointed.
