2006-Feb. 6---kayak tour and lawai snorkeling:
Today the kids wanted to go on the kayak tour and hike to a waterfall. Sounded like fun to me, but Ken wasn't up to it. So I figured it would be nice to let them go on their own. Afterall, they're now staying at KBV in our condo with us now. They did use my underwater camera, though, so I figure that gives me the ok to post some of their pictures---doesn't it?
Their tour took them up the Wailua River close to Kapaa---great views of Sleeping Giant.
They had a pretty big group going with them.
beautiful place for a kayak ride.
Now---on to the hiking part. They're ready for the wet trail.

Back in the kayak and back to the dock. They said it was much harder coming back with the wind in their faces.
Meanwhile, Ken and I explored the East side a bit while we waited for their return. Love all the palm trees.
our view of the Sleeping Giant.
Had to document this name---Hanamaulu. Tim kept teasing that was his new last name.
Once they were done with their hike, they were ready to go sit on a beach, so we headed South.
I always love seeing this flag with the mountains in the background.
We ended up at Lawai.
