2019 Wyndham Shearwater, Unit 108:

Wyndham Shearwater is located on the North shore of Kauai, just before Hanalei and about 50 minutes from LIH airport.
I was able to pick up 2 weeks here through RCI, even though we are Wyndham owner, too.   With an RCI exchange, the amount of Wyndham points needed for the 2 bedroom unit was 200,000---considerably less then if I'd booked it through Wyndham.
I think there is one 3 bedroom unit, the rest are 2 bedroom.  They are quite roomy and the lanai is huge.
Since I had picked up these weeks through RCI, I was expecting one of the worst units, so I wasn't surprised when we got unit 108.  It looks like the ocean view would be blocked, but it really wasn't bad!  I would happily stay there again.

Shearwater is considered to be a flagship resort in Wyndham timeshares.  These units sit on the edge of the cliff in Princeville, Kauai, overlooking Anini Bay .
Nicely furnished and very comfortable, they all have some kind of ocean view.  This was our view from our lanai of unit 108.
a wider look at our view
We spent most breakfasts on our lanai enjoying the views.

The condos on the upper floors having lofted ceilings.  Our unit was a ground level 2 bedroom deluxe.

2 bedroom deluxe
Max. Occupancy – 6
Kitchen - Full
Bed - Varies
Bath –2
Square Footage - 1,316 to 1,368
Balcony/Deck
Washer/Dryer
Whirlpool Tub

The inside of our unit was nicely furnished. Typical wicker resort furniture, but very comfortable.

The kitchen is large, with granite counter tops and complete with everything we wanted---including large vase for my tropical flowers that I bought from the farmers market.

looking towards the entry door---- the bedrooms are to either side.

fold out couch---love the print on the fabric!
Master bedroom---with sliding doors just out of view to the right that lead to the large lanai
Huge master bath with jacuzzi tub
 and huge shower

Large 2nd bedroom with 2 full size bed (or were they queen)?

also with en-suite bathroom
Huge lanai

Nice pool and Jacuzzi, although the pool is not heated so it was very cold in Jan.!

The Jacuzzi was nice and warm though.

Being an RCI exchange, I wasn't surprised to get the slightly hidden unit.

Nice grill area which was cleaned daily.

The walkway between our building and the direct ocean view one.

The activities for the week---none of which we ended up attending.

Even though it was facing North East, it still had beautiful sunsets when the conditions were right.  Would have been a great place to catch sunrise---if I was ever up that early!

Plus the views of Anini bay from the property line are spectacular.

 on a calmer day
 look at that reef!!!!

We very much enjoyed our stay here.
